Zeta II Chapter of Sigma Lambda Chai Reactivated
The Zeta II chapter of Sigma Lambda Chi honor society is proud to announce its recent reactivation as the construction honor society in the Department of Applied Engineering and Technology at Eastern Kentucky University. Dr. Anthony J. Lamanna will act as the advisor to the four newly installed members. Installed members were seniors Kenneth Hostrander (Maine, NY), L. Blake Hamilton (Richmond, Ky.), Clayton McAlmond (Paris, Ky.), and Luke Wurzelbacher (Hamilton, Oh.).
Sigma Lambda Chi is an international honor society for construction. Chapters may be established at a school, college, or university that has a college-level discipline of education in construction. Qualified students must be at least a junior, with overall scholastic average in the upper 20 percent of their program.
According to SLC International’s president, Christine Piper, there are over 70 chapters and 19,000 members in the United states, Australia, and Ireland. The society’s web page address is slc-intl.org.
