Construction Management Teams Compete at ASC

Last week, two teams of Construction Management students, along with faculty mentors Charlie Zhang and Dan Enz, headed to Illinois to compete in the Associated Schools of Construction Great Lakes Region (Region 3) Construction Management Student competition. The teams competed in the following events: Concrete Solutions and Pre-Construction.

Students participating included: (Concrete Solutions) Thomas Fint, Alan Groathouse, Alyssa Haines, Dustin Jasper, Chance Jones, Sierra Watkins; (Pre-Construction) Austin Forbes, Abigail Harrison, Jeremy Lane, Eric May, Logan Watkins, Michael Wurtele.

Both teams represented the EKU Construction Management program well. The Concrete Solutions team stood out by taking second place in the overall competition, which made them the top placing team from Region 3.

Department Chair, Dr. Tim Ross, stated: “These students were an outstanding example of the quality of students we have not only in the CM program, but across our department.” Congratulations to CBT's Construction Management teams and their faculty mentors.
