Congratulations EKU Construction Management Concrete Solutions Team!

Congratulations to our EKU Construction Management Concrete Solutions Team for placing 3rd in the ASC Region 3 (Great Lakes Region) competition held on October 17th.  This is an annual event with teams from across the US competing in various construction related competitions.  Some of the universities represented at the conference included:  Illinois State, University of Cincinnati, Bradley University, Michigan Tech, Ferris State, Sacramento State, Cal Poly, Purdue, etc.  This event takes months of preparation and a high level of performance on competition day. 

While Sacramento State and Cal Poly finished 1st and 2nd, EKU was the ONLY team from Region 3.  Given both of these universities are not in Region 3 but actually from Region 7, this would make the EKU Concrete Solutions Team first in Region 3!  Please join me in congratulating our 2020 Concrete Solutions Team:  Thomas Flint, Ethan Fowlie (Fire and Safety) Nathan LeMieux, Tanner McVey, Will Meranda and Matthew Wade for the exceptional job preparing and performing in the competition.  Also, congratulations to Dr. Daniel Enz for his mentorship and preparing his team!  This is another example of the high quality students we have not only in the CM program, but across the School of Applied Science and Technology!
