CBT students honored by EKU Co-op Office

RICHMOND, Ky. - Two Eastern Kentucky University seniors have been honored by the University's Office of Cooperative Education.

Jonathan Hubbard of Nicholasville was named Outstanding Intern Student of the Year and Andrew Hans, from Eaton, Ohio, received the Outstanding Co-op Student of the Year award.

Hans, an accounting and criminal justice major, served as a field buyer intern for Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass, and Hubbard, a construction management major, was an intern with Codell Construction Company. Both students were nominated by their respective employers for doing outstanding jobs in their co-op roles.

All nominated students submit a brief essay about the co-op/internship experience, and an Awards Committee comprised of EKU faculty, staff and retired faculty outside the Co-op Office selects the award recipients prior to the University's spring awards ceremony.
