Student Spotlight: Quentin Miles
This week’s spotlight student is Quentin Miles. Quentin is a 20-year-old junior from Saint Francis, Ky., where his parents, Chris and Lea, still reside.
Quentin is a Construction Management major and is an active SCA (Student Contractor’s Association) member. Quentin chose this major because he has always been interested in the construction process.
When asked why he loves the program here at Eastern Kentucky University he responded, “The professors are what make the ... Construction Management Program here so great. Their combination of real world experience in construction as well as their willingness to help in any way they can makes succeeding in this program attainable to anyone with a passion for construction. The Student Contractor’s Association in the CM Department creates an opportunity to network with other CM students as well as hear from presenters from local construction companies. The club also goes to jobsite visits, providing a real view of the construction process.”
Quentin first heard about this program from his brother who is an EKU Alum from the program and hopes to become a project manager one day.
