CM Students Lace up their Sneakers for the 2016 Homecoming 5K
Construction Management students laced up their sneakers for a run with the Prez in the 2016 Homecoming 5k. The 39th Annual event led EKU's Homecoming Parade on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, finishing on the field at Roy Kidd Stadium.
The 5K route began on Lancaster Avenue and led the floats through downtown Richmond on East Main, turning back to wind through campus before ending at the football stadium.
Dr. Dyer took first place in his age group, with his daughter Carlie finishing second in hers. Jason Parrett finished second, Earl Stanley took fourth in his group, and many more on the CM team finished in the top ten for their age groups.

- Female - 1st Place: Kah Grasberger, Age 20 (19:54.1 | Overall 4)
- Female - 2nd Place: Alexa Lua, Age 22 (19:54.2 | Overall 5)
- Male - 1st Place: Shinya Akimoto, Age 19 (19:00.9 | Overall 1)
- Male - 2nd Place: Joe Pawlish, Age 44 (19:15.0 | Overall 2)
